Hair in my ice cream

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I purchased a 1/2 gallon of strawberry ice cream from Shoppers Value on Plank Road in Baton Rouge La. I began eating the ice cream daily. By the time I got to the middle of the half gallon I found a piece of hair in my ice cream. It wasnt like it was just sitting there , it was in a position where I had to pull the hair out and it was pretty deep down in the ice cream. It really had me gasp. I told myself I would never ever purchase bluebell ice cream again. The number on the ice cream was. 11292****. 09:25 Bar code718990****

I purchased the half gallon of cinnamon twist ice cream. I found the cinnamon was overpowering, the honey bun was awful and the glaze wasn't enough. I called in to let them know I was displeased with this new product. the woman took down my information and told me she would pass it on, she never asked me if I wanted a refund at all

Blue Bell Creameries - Poor/Disgusting possibly expired
Hello bluebell, i was recently craving some ice cream and went to a local supermarket where I purchased a bluebell conies n cream pint of ice cream. I come home and put in freezer to eat after dinner! Well to my surprise i get my ice cream and remove top and it looks like it is over a year old!!! The top layer os balled up in cumbs and the middle half is frozen solid!!! This is very unacceptable for a 5$ pint of ice cream! I have a picture of it if needed!

Different taste and change to Fudge bars

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Yall had to do it!! Im so so sorry. I have loved your fudge bars for 2 years straight, mom and I and never ran out , even in the winter!! BUT now you changed the taste. They are icy, NOT creamy. The same price, NOT creamy anymore not as fudgy, might as well call them ice bars. And tho they are slightly fatter, they are smaller. Sorry not buying them anymore, and I wont be the only one!!! I could CRY. Plz bring the original back!!! Thank you Ann Mc Mahan

I was looking so forward to Blue Bell coming back to Las Vegas because they took it away when the contamination stuff went down years ago, and I have missed it for so many years before the contamination and then after the contamination. I still remember having to return a new unopened homemade vanilla back to the grocery store for a refund, and it was heartbreaking.

But honestly, I took my first bite and thought that maybe I was eating Blue Bunny ice cream or something. The homemade taste was not there at all, that rich, buttery homemade flavor, whatever you call that taste, it just wasn't there at all. I was so disappointed. I immediately said to my wife that they are paying somebody to put their vanilla in these Blue Bell original containers.

And it's just lying to people really. They're deceiving people. They should take the words "The original" off of the packaging and replace it with "The new, cheap, no homemade vanilla". It has got some quality to it, but they shouldn't call it homemade.

For the people who grew up eating it and know what it should taste like, they must be very disappointed. I wonder if they changed it everywhere? I wonder if it's only changed for states other than Texas? I would think if they changed it in Texas, which I happen to be from Dallas, there would be an uprising.

Be nice if everyone could come together and ban the ice cream to make them go back to the original Blue Bell recipe. Maybe someone will start an online petition. Please bring it back. Life is short.

Take care. :)

  • Taste of your ice cream

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution

User's recommendation: Give it a try. It's creamy, but do not expect that rich homemade flavor like the old days. Great Value brand at Walmart is a $1,97, and it is just a level lower.

Ice cream Flavors

To whom who cares!! It seems that blue bell has new flavors all the time but they are short lived. It never fails I find a flavor I like and then it’s gone! I also see flavors in the pint size but not in the 1/2 gallon such as banana pudding! Can someone please explain? Blue bell is the only brand I buy. It’s nice not to have to use every muscle in your body to scoop it out. It’s so soft and creamy. Love the brand!! Please stop discontinuing the good flavors like chocolate sheet cake and coffee. I’m surprised the peach one is still around. I’m sure it won’t be much longer.

Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream gave me diarrhea. Only cheap ice cream causes this.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream gave me almost instant diarrhea. I only get this from cheap ice cream brands, and Blue Bell definitely isn't cheap ($7.99 per half gallon at my local grocery store). I am sorely disappointed and ticked off because now there is ZERO ice cream I safely consume. Oh well, guess I'll be able to save money and be healthier. Personally, my theory is Blue Bell has been acquired by a subsidiary of a subsidiary of one of the Big 3 food conglomerates, because the first thing that happens is milk, or skim milk, or milk-like substances replace most of the cream content. I am NOT sensitive to cream or half & half. However, milk causes my digestive system to go into overdrive. Therefore, according to my logic Blue Bell is now just a name.

I recently purchased Blue Bell Mint Chocolate Chip the taste is awful it taste like cheap ice it had no cream to it. I always liked this Ice Cream Company but looking at other people's experiences I feel the same there is no more home made to it honestly I dont think they care about the customers anymore they just want the Money. It is a shame that this company that I loved to eat growing up is no longer what it used to be will never buy another product from them again.

Strawberry and Home Made a vanilla Ice Cream

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The strawberry and home made vanilla ice cream made by Blue Bell has always been a favorite. I was just able to find it again recently. Not sure what happened to it now. It is so sweet that none of the flavors come through. Certainly cannot taste the home made vanilla in this recipe. I wont buy this again.

Preferred solution: Go back to the old recipe. I’d like to taste the home made vanilla in this ice cream.
